We are a Greek & Middle Eastern family with a deep love for food and a passion for bringing people together around a great meal.
Sean and Mary, the husband-and-wife team behind The Gyro Hero, bring a lifetime of cooking experience and authentic Mediterranean flavors to every event. With roots in the legendary food scene of Detroit, they came to Arizona with one goal — to serve food that actually means something.
Based in Surprise since 2020, we serve private residential parties across the West Valley — showing up with a full live gyro station and making every sandwich fresh, right in front of your guests.
The Gyro Hero is our newest venture — born from a love of great food and a desire to bring something genuinely different to the West Valley. We're just getting started, and we couldn't be more excited to share this experience with our community.
Our Mission

Cooked Live at Your Event
Every gyro is carved fresh off the cone and made into a sandwich on the spot. No pre-cooked food, no warming trays, no shortcuts. Your guests see it, smell it, and get it handed to them hot. That's the difference between a live station and everything else.
We Handle Everything
You book, we show up. We bring the full setup, run the station for your entire event, and break it all down when we're done. You don't lift a finger — you just enjoy the party with your guests.
